PRODUCTS > Bynari

Rather than replace a customer’s entire e-mail system, Bynari products simply power the existing Outlook front end with Linux-based mail server software. Because employees can continue using the same e-mail interface, Bynari software eliminates the need for end-user retraining. In addition, the company also provides a tool to automate the migration of existing messaging data—enabling customers to seamlessly convert to a Linux-based e-mail and calendaring system.

This application is designed to provide customers instantaneous lookups when using the "check name" feature in a new mail message. It has caching capabilities, and queries take less than three seconds for the entire directory. The AddressBook integrates completely with Insight Connector and additional features like phone numbers are displayed for each user. In addition, the schema can be changed to work with other mail servers.
Insight WebClient
The Insight WebClient is a browser-based application that reads information from
Insight Server, and displays this information to the user in the form of an html page. To
reduce the learning curve, the interface of the WebClient is quite similar to common
desktop applications, such as Microsoft Outlook™. Whether the user is at the office
using a desktop application or away from their desk accessing the same data through
a web browser, the experience will be quite similar.
